Of course, this movie had a ton of hype and the movie can live up to all that .... Yada Yada Yada. Even assuming that this film is a bit of a dissapointment. This movie proves that it was not just special FX that made Star Wars fun to watch. It was as if George Lucas was so happy with what he could do with CGI effects that he forgot what made the original trilogy so great, the writing and the characters. It's not a bad movie, but the problem is many.I-Many people have forgiven this film about a trifling, as they say, it is only the first of a trilogy, and just set up everything to follow. IS NOT WRONG IS NOT WRONG with evil, this film was supposed to film it primarily as three other films were. It is necessary to have good characters and some interesting story .... It didnt.-story revolves around the conflict of commercial disputes and the fate of the planet Naboo. There was one really cares about this? Details of the discussion is a bit confusing, and this is revealed is not enough to create a genuine interest in our root of a particular side. Conflicts of relevant Darth Sideous and keep rising up far in the background. We dont even know why Darth Jedis hit hated so .... he just made. Maybe Lucas wanted to be a little like Darth hit Bob made (silence and secrecy). He worked with boba do, because it only supports character rather than the main villian. This movie really is not any clear villian. I wish someone would have the courage and just told Lucas that his story based on lousy. Nobody-not seem especially happy in this film. Qui-gon is really the only character that can be associated with, and it is very far away. Queen of acting as a mannequin in a lot of scenes it (and it seems that one before). Obi-Wan Kenobi in the market the whole movie without any results, and never said anything interesting. The characters never seem to talk about something together piece (unlike the first film). C3PO and R2-D2 was pretty pointless. Jedi Council come across as a very cold and buracratic. And I will never understand why they wrote Annakin as a kid in elementary school this movie. It would be a teenager. Breast and she had nasty. She was not even going to discuss Jar Jar.Various else ...-midochlorians thing seems to be just crucified. Humor crashing, unless you have a very young child. Annakin merchant ships destroyed in the end everyone safves, mostly error! Ilm and George Lucas seems to be so happy with their new CGI game, they spent 95% of their time perfecting it. Quite frankly, I think back to Thursday FX was perfect, more dimensional and less cartoonish. There is nothing all that memorable, seems to be happening here. Can this movie was never as good as the hype, but it could easily have a much better than this. I waited all this time to film, but the first time I saw this movie, I was really bored in it.There are among the best moments. Pod race was fun, as it was a light saber battle in the end. There are some very nice special effects at all. Hopefully Lucas just had writers block when he wrote this one. Maybe he'll remember another film made such good time, Episode II. Although it seems to have botched the title already.
