Review:
I went and saw it after reading many negative reviews and now seeing it, I can not understand all the negative of attention. Of course, I might be a little biased grew up surfing in Northern CA, children in many of these places, and O ; appearance in the big wave chargers like Jay, but based on entertainment value alone, I thought it would be great. The action was solid, the footage was incredible, and the story never drew or lost my attention. The film describes a very realistic atmosphere of Santa Cruz, as a student, and frequently discussed aspects of surfing. I thought it was great that they were able to bring the real pioneers Mavs and local shapers.The only drawback was confirmed that he was actually a little karate-kidish at the time and there were several events that would be very rare all seemed to happen in the owner moments.Perhaps this movie will not appeal as much to many people who have a passion for the sport or program large-scale events rowing in difficult Surf - but it was very interesting. History can not be 100% accurate, but the point is to pay tribute and tell the story of an extremely driven and all-around good guy.
